Inspirational Techniques For Practical Training

Who Should Attend And Why

This three day event is intended for those who are new to designing, delivering and evaluating training events. It also provides an excellent development forum for those with more hands on delivery experience who wish to further develop their abilities.

The workshop includes an assessment for each delegate of the specific competencies required by effective trainers. The formulation of a personal action plan will help guide their future performance.

Practice sessions will be video recorded and the tape/disc will be given to the delegate to take away and evaluate.

By The End Of The Workshop Participants Will Be Able To:

Accurately assess training needs

Set SMART training objectives and prepare an appropriate learning event

Understand how to evaluate effectively

Use diverse techniques to appeal to the differing needs of the audience

Control, influence and motivate their audience to achieve buy-in

Use the most effective techniques to help delegates learn quickly and efficiently

Practice delivery and receive feedback on their performance

Understand the importance of action plans and how to set post course objectives with participants

Deal more confidently with difficult situations that may arise whilst training

Recognise their own strengths and weaknesses in regard to delivering effective events and set objectives for personal development
